Helen Calderone

Helen Calderone (nee Hanna), 92, a life long resident of Jersey City Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2017.  

Helen was a crossing guard for 25 years at Sanford Place and Summit Ave.  She was also an embroider for Floriani Co. in Secaucus.

Helen loved cooking for family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Dominick "Mickey" Calderone; Devoted mother Michael (Joanne) and Thomas (Loriann) Calderone; Loving Nana of Michael, Gabriella and Carly; Dear sister of the late Eleanor Lorenz.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 20, 2017, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Funeral will begin on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 9:30am at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow 10:30am at St. John the Baptist Church.  Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
